This board comes pre-programmed with seesaw peripheral code that will let it act as an "I2C to something" converter. It has 12x GPIO, 9x 10-bit ADC, 5x 8-bit PWM, 1x NeoPixel output, 1x interrupt, 1x LED, 127 byte EEPROM and two StemmaQT/Qwiic/EasyC I2C connectors. Works with 2-5 V power/logic.

This board has 18 total 'I/O' pins, 10 columns and 8 rows, which can be arranged as a matrix of buttons for a total of 80 switches. Or you can use any subset as individual GPIO input or outputs. The nicest part of the keypad driver is that it has a 10-element event FIFO queue. Since it's I2C (StemmaQT/Qwiic/EasyC compatible) it's very easy to use with any microcontroller or computer.

This board allows you to use I2C over long cables - up to 3m @ 400 KHz and up to 30m @ 100 KHz via Ethernet cable! Just connect it to your I2C bus at the beginning of the chain, no special firmware, software, or configuration required. Finally, a way to get up to 4 same-address I2C devices hooked up to one microcontroller - this multiplexer acts as a gatekeeper, shuttling the commands to the selected I2C port with your command. Using it is fairly straight-forward: the multiplexer itself is on I2C address 0x70 (but can be adjusted from 0x70 to 0x77 using jumpers on the back) and you simply write a single byte with the desired multiplexed output number to that port.
